Meeting for the Development of Dwarka Held

A meeting of Awaz Confederation (Voice of RWA/NGO/MTA/MEDIA)  was held on 25 th Jan2010

the officer bearers of Awaz Confederation. Sh Rattan Lal Kaushik chaired the meeting. President of the confederation Mr.Naresh Lamba informed to all office bearers that In Dwarka lot of work is required for beautification & sanitation, we should arrange for a meeting to discussion these

Issues with all RWA/NGO/MTA/MEDIA of Dwarka. These topic have been discussed with

Sh Rajiv Shukla (SDM Najafgarh), he has given time on date 20th Feb,2010 for meeting and also assured to give all possible solution.

Following points decided in meeting :-

1) Invitation will be sent to all RWA/NGO/MTA/MEDIA of Dwarka.

2) Meeting will be held at A-64 Nirmala House Palam Ext.Sec-7 Dwarka.

3) SDM Najafgarh & other related Govt. Officers ,Bhagidari Core Committee mem. Will be invited in the meeting.

4) In media sector, special contribution should be taken from Dainik Jagran City Plus.

Social Development Welfare Society (Regd.NGO) celebrated Republic Day on 26th January 2010 at Shaheed Ramphal Chowk Palam Ext. Sec – 7 Dwarka. President of NGO Mr. Naresh Lamba hoisted the flag with NGO’s children. NGO’s Vice President Mr. Manish Mann Greets Republic Day to all present there.

Social Development Welfare Society (Regd.NGO) is taking care of this Shaheed monument
( Shaheed Ramphal Chowk). Airforce Retired Sh. Kuldip Singh Solanki, Ex Registrar Sh. Pohkar Mal, Sh. Jai Bhagwan, Sh. Jai Singh and NGO’s Best volunteer Miss Anisha Lamba & Master Ankit Lamba , all other students of NGO & other people saluted the National Flag by singing the National Anthem. President Mr.Naresh Lamba’s message , he addresses the people that where ever there are shaheed monuments, people should respect them and RWA & NGO’s of that area should take initiative to take care of those monuments. Posters & Banners should not be affixed on such monuments. People should respect them who have sacrifice for the country.

OCCASIAN 3rd FOUNDATION DAY.

Social Development Welfare Society ( Regd. NGO) organized Saheed Samman Programme on occasion of its 3rd foundation day. A large no of retired army men, defense officers, around 300 children along with residents from nearby area participated in the program. The only saheed monument in sector-7, Dwarka ( Ramphal Chawk) named after Saheed Ramphal Kajala ( 9 Mahar regiment) died in 4 th July 1999 during Kargil war. The chief guest of the occasion were family members of Saheed Ramphal wife Smt. Anita Devi, daughter Suman and other relatives were given samman. On behalf of the Society Inspector Sh. Subhash and Sh Sandeep Ahlawat facilitated family members of Saheed Ramphal.

Saheed samman march started from Bal Shisksha Centre and Kumari Anisha dressed in mother India with Indian flag lead the march. Religious heads of Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Christian along with other residents recited patriotic slogans – Bharat mata ki jai, Vande matram, Saheed Ramphal amar rahe, Hindustan jindabad and reached to Ramphal Chawk. Sh. Naresh Lamba presented woolen shawls to all religious heads.

Other prominent persons present were Chairman of the society Sh. K.S. Bhati, Vice president Sh. Manish Maan, Ankit Lamba, Sh. Ratan Lal Kaushik, Sh. Kishan Chand,Mr.Yugul Kishor Dwivedi,  Brigadier R.P.Singh, Colonel Chawdhary, Wing Commander Surjit Singh Bawa, Major Sangwan and Seth Ratan Singh.

Reziment in 1982. He won in battle at Dhana(Sagar)
at Srilanka. He participated in Kargil war and reached at the top.

On 6 th July 1999 at 7:10 AM he martyr his life for India,
during the Kargil war.

Blind Persons Association celebrated the 201st Birth Anniversary of Louis Braille on Sunday, the 3rd January, 2010 at Dwarka Health Club, Sector-7, Dwarka, Delhi.
According to Mr.Anil Kumar Verma-the President of the association, the celebration included different programme like Kavi Sammelan, Cultural programme - vandana, welcome song, gazals were the main attraction of the celebration. Sh. Joginder Singh (former Director-C.B.I.) was the Chief Guest of the occasion who distributed the prizes to the meritorius girls students. Few people pledged their eyes to the Venu Eye Institute, 
Naresh Lamba - Social Development Welfare Society , Surat Karan - Saksham Foundation, Sushil Garg & S.S.Dogra also attended the programme.

BHAGIDARI MEETING ORGANIZED ON THE EVENING OF NEW YEAR IN S/W DISTT

“ Bhagidari Meeting”  was held on the eve of new year celebration in the office of the DC, Distt South/West office Kapashera on 31.12.2009. The meeting chaired by Najafgarh SDM Hon’r Rajeev Shukla. The officers from BSES, Delhi Jal Board, MCD, DTC , Education and From Delhi Police have also attended the meeting. The main RWA’s Representative were present that is Sh.Rattan Lal Kaushik (Mem Core Committee), Sh Kuldeep Singh Solanki
(RWA Palam), Sh Mahender Singh Dagar UJWA, Sh Hari Om Gupta (RWA Palam Ext.),
 Mr.Naresh Lamba(Gram Vikas ASSOCIATION Shahabad Mohd Pur) and many more RWA’s were also present in the meeting.

Main Points Were discuss wiz Sh C.S.Yadav (Nodel Officer Education) also told in the house that the new guest teacher can also be appointed directly by the Head of School in order to fill the gape of subject teachers in the school.
Sh Yadav further told that we are going to open 3 or 4 schools in the S/W Distt very soon.

Sh.Rattan Lal Kaushik suggested that there is a sufficient fund available with GOVT. for beautification purpose. We should project for beautification in Dwarka sub-city before conducting Common Wealth Game 2010 Delhi.

Sh Hari Om Gupta in found in the house that Palam Ext Part1 is facing sanitary problems. The MCD assured that they will make proper arrangement from sanitation.

Sh Kuldeep Singh Solanki expressed a great concern that whenever and wherever the cases are brought in the knowledge of concerned department against the individual/department RWA’s should not be made party to it. The concerned department should take the action on the information received from the RWA’s , After verification at their level.

Mr Naresh Lamba brought out that BSES have fixed the new poles in the street but the poles left their balance and become dangerous for human life. It was suggested that the BSES should ensure the proper fixing of electrical poles with concrete material.   

Hon’r SDM Sh Rajeev Shukla wish the Happy New Year and assured that the Bhagidar RWA’s to make success attempts in Bhagidari.

BAL CHITARKAR (Drawing Compition on civic issues)

Organized BAL CHITRAKAR Drawing competition on 25 Dec,2009

 Like every year, this year also on the occasion of birthday of Sh. Naresh Lamba - President,Social Development Welfare Society ( Regd. NGO), Bal Chitrakar Drawing Competition was organised at sector-7, Dwarka. About 500 Children from Baba Ambedkar Welfare Samaj Kalyan Samiti, J.J. Colony Sector-7 Palam Extention, Rahul Model Public School Sadh Nagar, Sant Sunder Das Public School Vikas Nagar, Govt. Sahbad Mohamadpur, Kala Bhumi NGO and Dwarka and surrounding area participated in the Drawing competition.

The Chief guest on the occasion was Sh. Vijay Pandit, Nigam Parshad of Palam. Many eminent personalities from Dwarka and Palam were present on the ocassion. Some of them were Sh. Bhagwan Singh, SHO Sector-23, Dwarka, Sh. Sandeep Ahlavat, IT Deptt. of GOVT. of NCT Delhi, Sh. Ratan Lal Kaushik, Member Core committee Bhagidari, S/W Distt, Prof. A.P.Mittal Dean NSIT, Sh. Subhash, Inspector Delhi Police Accident investigation cell S/W Distt.

The venue was decorated with tricolor flags and poster from Deptt. Environment, MCD,
DJB etc. Paintings by Children were looking very attractive. The competition was organized in two age groups. Himanshu Golliya won Ist prize in group I category. Navrattan Saini won in II nd group. Bumper prize won by Kumari Dristi of Rahul Model Public School. Prof. A.P. Mittal Dean NSIT was judge in the drawing competition. Apart from prizes 60 children got gifts sponsored by associates.

Children from the society performed Dance on Vande Matram, I Love india, Dulhan Chali and everybody felt patriotism. Speakers praised the organization of Bal Chitrakar Drawing competition.

Sh. Naresh Lamba informed about starting of Jeevan services of Delho GOVT. Any one can pay various bills like Electricity, Water, Telephone etc. at this centre. He said resident of the area can avail these service and relax.

Sh. Lamba thanked all associates for full support in making the event a big success. On behalf of the society, Sh.
